While the focus of UI design is on creating a user-friendly interface, UX is focused on how the user experiences the use of a product. The UI deals with the elements with which the user interacts, while the UX seeks to understand the behaviors and emotions of these people in using the product.
To do so, the User Experience Designer is also responsible for researching, testing, prototyping and following up on the final user experience. Therefore, my job is to accompany a product's performance from the project to after its release. Also, my knowledge as a Front End developer gives me more insight on the development process, delivering better prototypes for a product's devs, as well as giving me the ability to participate in part of the programming and development process.
